Seattle Travel : Seattle Center Space Needle

Space Needle in Seattle Center is the landmark of Seattle.
Seattle Center is a comprehensive park that was built in site of World Expo it was opened in 1962.

Height 184 meter. At the top of the Tower the disk such as UFO is stuck, it is characteristic. There is a observation deck in this disc portion.

the monorail

I went to Seattle Center abroad the monorail from the third floor of the West Lake Center. The riding time was about ten minutes.

I went up riding the elevator to the elevator to the observation deck.

Scenery that is visible from the observation deck. I was able to overlook the downtown and Elliott Bay.

Depending on the weather, it is apparently able to see Mt, Rainier.

Height of the observation deck is 150 meter. 360 degree panorama. There is nothing to block.

There are recreational facilities, such as amusement parks and IMAX theater and science fiction Museum and Experience Music Project Museum etc... in Seattle Center.

There is also a food court and amusement arcade.

There is also a restaurant under the observation deck.
