Kobe Travel : Kitano Part 1

Kobe retains culture since Kobe opening of the Meiji era, is a stylish city with exoticism. Sophisticated urban atmosphere and exotic retro mood has coexist.
I was a child, lived near the city of Kobe. This is one of my favorite city.

Ijinkan foreign residences
Weathercock House
The only brick clad in Ijinkan extant in Kitano, Germany trader G Thomas's private residence, it was built around 1909. Weathercock on the steeple is a symbol of Kitano.
Moegi House
The United States Consul General Hunter Sharp old mansion. It was built in 1903. It is a beautiful mansion of colonial style in the outer wall of pale green.
Uroko (Scale) House and Uroko Museum
Great outer wall was decorated with natural stone slate is design to be seen in this house only. Built in 1905, it was the relocated.




This is a sled that Danish prince was actually used in mid-18th century.
The view from the balcony was great.
Yamate Hachiban-kan
Impressive house three barreled penthouse of Tudor style.

Saturn's chair
When we make a wish while sitting in this chair, it is said that wish come true. It is very famous and popular chair. I waited in line for a while, but was able to sit. I hope my wish come true.
